Register your business before 12th April 2021 and take advantage of free regular rapid workplace testing.

With more than 28 million people in the UK having received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, there appear to be rays of hope that lockdown restrictions can finally be eased and that people currently working from home can return to their workplaces. However, business leaders need to plan ahead to create safe working environments that will help stop the spread of COVID19.
Employers of all sizes can register online to order free lateral flow tests for employees. Simply click here to register your business before the 12th April. You can register even if your business is currently not open and the scheme is now available for business with 10 or more employees.
Why regular rapid workplace testing is critical
To stop the spread of the virus, it’s imperative that we break the chains of transmission with regular workplace testing. This is important as it is estimated that around 1 in 3 people with COVID-19 don’t display symptoms or don’t realise they are infected. This means they could be spreading the virus in workplaces without even knowing it.
Regular testing is already drastically reducing the number of COVID-19 cases. So far, rapid tests have identified over 92,000 positive cases in people who were asymptomatic and could have been spreading the virus.
Covid-19 tests are easy and convenient for workers to do and the results are typically available in around 30 minutes. Employees can get tested at least twice per week, simply by registering your business for regular rapid workplace testing. Tests are provided free of charge; businesses just need to provide space for the testing to take part, together with some basic equipment and staff to support.
Who is eligible?
All businesses with 10 or more employees in England who are unable to work from home can sign up for rapid workplace testing. This includes businesses that are currently still closed due to lockdown.
You simply need to register by 12th April and free tests will currently be provided until the end of June. Register your business here.
If your business is registered in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, then further information can be obtained here.
If you are a smaller business that is unable to offer testing in the workplace, you can direct your employees to their local test sites. You can find information on where they can have a test, by using the postcode checker here
