If you are running your operations on limited resources, CHAS can help you reduce risk and stay compliant.

Organisations who regularly engage sub-contractors are eligible to become CHAS Clients for no cost which gives them instant access to a range of free business services including compliance assessments and contractor matching and engagement services.

FREE ACCESS TO CLIENT PORTAL

CHAS Clients receive access to an industry leading database of over 35,000 accredited contractors. This means they can quickly and easily find compliant contractors via the CHAS Client Portal, where they can search by geographic area and trade (no matter how specialist) to help them identify contractors who are accredited and available.

The CHAS Client Portal is a useful tool for managing the supply chain where CHAS Clients can create and edit projects and manage and add contractors to multiple projects or assign them to a single project. The Client Portal dashboard can also be used to put out invitations to tender which helps streamline the procurement process.

REAL-TIME ALERT NOTIFICATIONS

Real-time alerts are issued if any lapses in compliance occur within a supply chain so they can be addressed immediately and downtime can be minimised. The portal also enables users to see an overview of their entire supply chain including the accreditation status of their CHAS contractors and that of their contractors, along with their own profile page.

CONTRACTOR MATCHING SERVICE

CHAS Clients can request a Contractor Matching assessment at any time and a report will be produced within three to five working days which will assess the compliance of their current supply chain against CHAS’s national database and compare their performance with their competitors. This can be used to generate board reports, profile contractors and prepare a risk reduction plan.

When a Contractor Matching report identifies a need for improvement, CHAS will work with an organisation to improve standards across their company so they can achieve 100% compliance throughout their organisation and reduce the risk of hiring contractors who aren’t compliant.

CONTRACTOR ENGAGEMENT SERVICE

CHAS can also take care of contractor communication via its popular Contractor Engagement service. Once a CHAS Client has specified the level of accreditation they require, CHAS can engage with their supply chain on their behalf providing draft communications and email templates tailored to the client’s needs.

DEDICATED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Every CHAS Client is given a dedicated Business Development Manager to help them make the most of the service along with online video training on how to use the Client Portal.

In the short term using the CHAS Client services is an easy way of outsourcing tasks which are usually undertaken by someone who has been furloughed; in the long term it can improve efficiency by ensuring those staff can focus on other critical tasks once they return to work.
