Introducing Verified Supplier: Risk Management Verification Tailored to Material Suppliers?
Verified Supplier is a new risk management verification service from CHAS. We designed Verified Supplier as a tailored solution for material suppliers, helping you achieve and demonstrate supply chain compliance.
Verified Supplier provides material suppliers with a streamlined and comprehensive risk management solution, allowing you to showcase your compliance with international standards, regulatory controls and supply chain best practices.
With Verified Supplier, you can verify your financial, legal and ethical credentials, helping you stand out from the competition and win more work with potential clients.
Why Should Material Suppliers Get Verified?
The rapidly evolving nature of supply chain risks puts pressure on clients (buyers) to achieve and maintain the highest standards in health and safety, environmental sustainability, quality and supply chain integrity.
This is further compounded by factors such as inflation and shortages. The construction industry, for example, saw the material price index for building materials rise by 21.5% year-over-year in December 2021. This means that clients face the increasing challenge of finding compliant and reliable material suppliers to fulfil their supply chain requirements.
Verified Supplier will help you showcase your qualifications to potential clients in the UK, making it easier and faster for buying organisations to pre-qualify you for supply chain contracts.

Our verification process will help you:
- Highlight your compliance with legislation: Highlight your commitment to regulations such as UK GDPR, the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Environment Act 2021 and Equality Act 2010, among others.
- Save time and avoid PQQ duplication: Save time and money from duplication of pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs). With CHAS, you can achieve and renew your verification under one roof.
- Improve your bid effectiveness: Leverage your verified status to build your reputation and submit stronger bids that lead to more work opportunities.
- Connect with over 2,000 CHAS clients: Once you’ve achieved verification, we will list your business profile on the CHAS Client Portal, which over 2,000 use to look for suitably qualified material suppliers.
