CHAS, the supply chain risk management expert, has appointed current Head of Operations and Quality, Saba Khan as Head of Risk with effect from 13th December.
Saba joined CHAS in March 2020, assuming responsibility for all CHAS operations including customer services, assessment verification, standards and quality. In the last nine months, she has successfully developed and deployed verification and assessment processes in line with PAS 91 (publicly available specification) and the Common Assessment Standard.
Saba has over 15 years’ experience working in the supply chain, health & safety and risk management industry. This includes holding senior leadership roles in third party accreditation businesses where she gained in-depth knowledge of the pre-qualification, compliance and scalable procurement sectors.
Previously, as a Launch Manager for Avetta, Saba was instrumental in building local teams and leading them in content management activities for the EMEA region which enabled crucial expansion to new market areas.
While at Exor Management Services, Saba developed a comprehensive and detailed risk management framework for the public sector enabling the procurement of goods and services from businesses while ensuring they were fully assessed for financial stability, health and safety and equal opportunities.
